Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect account information such as your email address, username, display name, profile image and the authentication provider you choose. We also collect the private age and location details you provide during registration, including country and state, province or region.

When you use the Academy, we record training progress, decisions, virtual bankroll, belt progress, achievements, friendships, invitations, challenges and match results. Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information and service logs.

2. How we use information

We use this information to operate accounts, save progress, provide challenges, maintain leaderboards, prevent abuse, support members, improve the Academy and comply with applicable obligations.

3. Offers and advertising

Age and location are kept separate from your public player profile. If you opt in, we may use those details to determine whether a partner offer is appropriate for your age and location. Opting in never makes an otherwise ineligible offer available. You can change this preference from Profile.

Future offer links may be affiliate links, meaning Blackjack Academy could receive compensation if you visit or qualify for a partner offer. Partner terms and local laws apply independently.

4. Authentication providers

If you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or another provider, that provider sends us information permitted by your authorization, normally an account identifier, email address and basic profile information. Your use of that provider remains subject to its own privacy terms.

5. Service providers

We use service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication and data storage and Vercel for application hosting. They process information on our behalf under their applicable service and privacy terms.

6. Sharing and sale

We do not sell member profile information. We may disclose information to service providers, when you direct us to, to protect the Academy or its members, or when required by law. Public profile details and leaderboard or challenge results are visible to other members as part of the product.

7. Retention and deletion

We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate and secure the service. You can permanently delete your account from Profile. See our data-deletion instructions. Limited records may remain temporarily in protected backups or where retention is required for security, fraud prevention or legal obligations.

8. Your choices

You may update your profile, demographic information, offer preference and connected sign-in methods from Profile. You may also request access, correction or deletion of your information by contacting us.

9. Age requirement

Blackjack Academy accounts are intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18.

10. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in countries other than where you live, subject to the protections used by our service providers.

11. Updates and contact

We may update this policy as the Academy changes. Material updates will be identified by a revised date. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@skylaragentic.com.
